Orangeville Fire Protection District and Volunteer Fire Department:  The Fire Protection District was established in 1948 and has a 30-person volunteer fire department. The OVFD constantly updates its firefighting and rescue equipment through fund-raising events such as the Firemen's Festival, held every summer since 1950; a spring consignment auction, the fall "Haunted Mill," and more.
