Orangeville Fire Protection District and
Volunteer Fire Department:
![]() The Fire Protection District was established in 1948 and has a 30-person volunteer fire department. The OVFD constantly updates its firefighting and rescue equipment through fund-raising events such as the Firemen's Festival, held every summer since 1950; a spring consignment auction, the fall "Haunted Mill," and more. Law Enforcement: One full-time, one part-time Constable Emergency: 911 System for fire, law enforcement, and medical emergencies Ambulance service available with 2 hospitals within a 15-mile radius U.S. Postal Service: 211 W.
